The Environment and OHS Policy adopted by TEKNOROT is based on respect for people and the environment in which they live. To ensure a safe and healthy working environment, everyone is obliged to do what is necessary within their own authority. One of our most important goals is to protect all our employees and the environment we live in against possible risks of our activities.

Environmentally Friendly Practices

Teknorot integrates the principle of sustainable production into all processes, from design to the final product. In product development and process design, the company aims to reduce waste at its source through environmentally friendly material selection, efficient production techniques, and optimization studies. Continuous improvement activities in cold forming, hot forging, machining, welding, and coating processes minimize raw material losses. In packaging and logistics, recyclable materials are preferred, and solutions that reduce the carbon footprint are implemented. With this approach, Teknorot not only manages post-production waste but also minimizes environmental impacts across the entire value chain, starting from the design stage.

Scrubber System

In the cathodic electrocoating (KTL) process, closed-system tanks and automatic conveyors enable environmentally friendly and safe coating without manual intervention. The coating tanks are connected to a scrubber system, which removes pollutants by washing chemical vapors with liquid. The extracted vapors are purified in the scrubber unit, and the gases released into the atmosphere are no longer harmful. Waste Heat Recovery Facility

During the drying stage of cathodic electrocoated parts, heat energy is generated in the oven unit. The unused portion of this energy, referred to as “waste heat,” is recovered by circulating it with water in the recovery unit. The heated water is then transferred to the natural gas boiler pre-heating tank. This process reduces energy costs and lowers emission values released into the atmosphere.

Reduction of Emulsion Waste

Lubricants and cutting fluids used in industrial production are often introduced into the system as emulsions, which are mixtures of oil and water. The resulting emulsion waste poses environmental risks. At Teknorot, innovative treatment methods significantly reduce the amount of emulsion waste. The water content of the waste is recovered and reused, contributing to both environmental protection and operational efficiency.

Exporting to more than 90 countries in 6 continents, Teknorot is a pioneer company in global steering and suspension sector. Our company has proven that customer satisfaction is its priority by having a strong reputation on ‘on time delivery’ for its exports to Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Middle East, Africa and Ocenia.

All our products (ball joints, tie rods (axial joints), tie rod ends, link stabilizers, lateral arms, strut arms, wishbones, control arms with or without ball joints and tie rod assemblies) are distributed to all around the world. Projects are on progress in accordance with our goal to expand our export destinations to 100 countries by the end of 2020. With more than 12.000 reference parts, Teknorot continues its production with the ability to cover 95% of the European automotive market demand.

With its production and distribution facilities in 4 different countries (Turkey, China, India, Spain) and “Always Ahead…” motto, Teknorot has achieved great success in execution of its global production facility structure which is an indispensable part of its development.

Teknorot’s global production and distribution facility investments are driven by considering long-term market needs of the regions and ongoing strategies with business partners, thus providing a more flexible and effective supply chain to both existing and new business partners. In this context, since 2011, Teknorot has invested in many production and distribution facilities as well as its main production facility located in Düzce.

Starting its journey with 100% local capital in 1992, Teknorot today continues its production at its own facilities, featuring a comprehensive infrastructure and a large machine park in the Düzce Industrial Zone. Inline with the growth in aftermarket and increase in demand, our production in Düzce plant started in June 2008 with full capacity. Every year, more than 900 new products are added to our product portfolio with over 12.000 references.

Teknorot produces sheet metal wishbones, aluminum, forged and cast iron control arms, ball joints, tie rods, tie rod ends, link stabilizers and other rubber/metal parts and delivers them to countries worldwide through its production and distribution centers in Turkey, Spain and India.
